Ameeriqa was founded on the principle that all men are created
equal, not excluding anybody. In 1996 Ameeriqa was first discovered
by Qwazymoto of DesertCrewia. He named it Ameeriqa in honor of the
great Ameer the Bomb, Amir of Phareone. The new country was explored in
great detail, revealing all of its natural resources. Qwazymoto
was surprised to find the abundance of golden mics and the several
rivers of pen ink that seemed to make his words magical. Exploration
further east was not possible however, because of a large cube made
of unknown matter that has come to be called the Writers Block.
Despite these tribulations, Qwazymoto settled in central Ameeriqa and
founded the first city and capital, Notre Dame. Since, he has been
the sole inhabitant of the expanse known as Ameeriqa, and in his
solitude was compelled to create a library. In this Great Library,
the only one in history to ever rival the famous Alexandrian Library,
Qwazymoto has selected what he has chosen to call THE AMEERIQAN
CLASSICS to share with the world. There are many classic works of
art in this world, but Qwazymoto, whose judgement has been
sharpened by the clouds of creativity that hover over Ameeriqa, has
selected these specifics that stand out amongst the others. The
types of media represented are FILM, MUSIC, BOOKS, COMICS, AND GAMES.
